Dynamic Civic Report

Editorial policy

Dynamic Civic Report aims to make civic processes clearer without overstating what the available information establishes. Our editorial choices prioritise accuracy, context and a visible distinction between explanation, opinion and paid material.

Accuracy and context

We check factual statements against suitable source material before publication and make clear when a point is interpretation rather than established fact. We define terms in context, distinguish a proposal from an adopted decision and avoid implying that one example speaks for every institution or place. Where a subject remains uncertain or contested, the wording should say so rather than flatten the disagreement.

Independence and partnerships

Editorial coverage is kept distinct from commercial arrangements. Partners do not receive control over independent editorial decisions. Paid or partner material will be clearly labelled so readers can tell it apart from editorial work; a placement is not presented as an independent endorsement.

Corrections

Readers can report a possible error through the Contact page. We review correction requests, check the relevant material and update content when a correction is warranted. Changes should make the record clearer, not conceal a meaningful alteration.

Illustrations

Some illustrations may be generated with artificial intelligence. When an illustration is AI-generated, it is identified as such; illustrative imagery is not evidence that a depicted scene or event occurred.

Our point of view

A decision is a process, not a headline.

We look past announcements to the roles, choices and records that give public decisions their shape.
